The fingerprint scanner didn't work after upgrading to W11. After uninstalling the scanner + removing the drivers, the scanner was reinstalled with an older driver set (12/03/2020, 3/1/57.300) which solved the problem.

Hope this helps in solving this issue as once my system gets an automatic update I need to roll back to the older version to get the scanner working again
