Hello everyone, as you know the Linux community is growing day by day. Sadly when buying a laptop with one of your fingerprint readers there is currently no way of using it.
As you can see on forum threads like this: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libfprint/libfprint/-/issues/450 or this https://linux-hardware.org/?id=usb:27c6-5503 many people are indeed complaining about this problem. Now after Broadcom already made a driver for Linux to meet the high demand, we were hoping you would consider something like this as well. Of course you don't need to produce open source ones (although that would be preferable for most people), a closed-source driver would already help many users and probably your growing business.
I really hope that you will release one. Have a great day :)´
