I have and ASUS UX391UA laptop and it use your fingerprint sensor, i installed Linux Mint 19.1 on it but unfortunately i don't have driver of it for Linux, it would be pleasure you help me in this regard.

Same here, using Fedora 32 with Huawei D14 2020 (AMD CPU).
Fingerprint reference:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 27c6:5110 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Goodix Fingerprint Device
Please either provide an open source driver, or full spec to let the community write the driver.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have a Dell G3 3500 with fingerprint reader on the power button.
My understanding is that this is a Goodix device - is that correct?
If so, I'd be much obliged if you would supply the driver software for this device.
If not, one other option would be to open-source the Windows driver to help the Linux community build one for Linux.

Every new Lenovo Thinkpad 5 15 ARE05 has the Goodix Fingerprint-Reader. I bought one Lenovo Thinkpad 5 15 ARE05 with Ryzen 4700u, 16gb of ram and the ID:27c6:55a2 Shenzen Goodix Technology Co. LTD Goodix FingerPrint Device.
So Ubuntu (last LTS) and Debian don't work with the fingerprinter. Please update us with a linux driver for that!

I hope that Goodix manages to fix this problem for linux users.
