Hello. I am also interested in support for 27c6:5125 on Linux. It is used now in some popular Honor laptops as far as I know, so I suppose it would be helpful for many of us to have the driver available on this OS.

I am a customer who bought one of your laptop fingerprint scanners (Goodix VID_27C6&PID_55B4). I am very satisfied with the quality and design of the device, but I have a problem: I cannot use it with my Linux operating system. You only provide proprietary drivers for Windows, which are not compatible with Linux. This means that I and many other Linux users are excluded from this useful feature. This is very frustrating and disappointing.
I therefore ask you to develop a Linux driver for your fingerprint scanner or at least disclose the specifications of the device, so that the Linux community can create its own driver. This would be a fair and customer-friendly step, which would also bring you more potential buyers. Linux is a popular and secure operating system, used by many people around the world. It would be a pity if you ignored this target group.
I hope that you take my request seriously and give a positive answer. I thank you in advance for your attention and cooperation.
