I have and ASUS UX391UA laptop and it use your fingerprint sensor, i installed Linux Mint 19.1 on it but unfortunately i don't have driver of it for Linux, it would be pleasure you help me in this regard.

I have an issues with fingerprint scanner on my laptop Honor Magicbook 15 (BMH-WDX9 (M1100)), the device ID 27c6:5125 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Goodix Fingerprint Device. Currently I use Linux(Fedora 40, 6.10.11-200.fc40.x86_64).

To Whom It May Concern:
I have a Dell G3 3500 with fingerprint reader on the power button.
My understanding is that this is a Goodix device - is that correct?
If so, I'd be much obliged if you would supply the driver software for this device.
If not, one other option would be to open-source the Windows driver to help the Linux community build one for Linux.

Please either provide an open source driver, or full spec to let the community write the driver.

Still no news from Goodix about a potential driver for 27c6:538d fingerprint reader. This is incomprehensible. They just don't care about users.

I have a laptop Dell G3 with a Goodix fingerprint. From Dell Official cite my driver is next (for Windows):
Goodix-GF3208-Fingerprint-Sensor-Driver_XGMK5_WIN64_1.0.33.800_A05.EXE
Currently, I use Debian 11.
