Hi team,

I have a 27c6:5335 Goodix Fingerprint Device that is currently not working because as far as I know there are no drivers available for Linux.

I see many others in the forum have been asking for Linux support for their fingerprint devices and the standard response is "very sorry that this community doesn't provide fingerprint support".

I'd like to propose something different: How about releasing the Windows drivers as Open Source? This way the Linux community could adapt, develop and support their own devices and it wouldn't even require any additional resources from Goodix.

We just want our devices to work, please open source your drivers!
