Using a Lenovo S740 ideapad for a few months and suddenly my fingerprint scanner no longer worked. I found it under hidden devices and updated driver, unisntalled, re-installed, removed windows update, did a system restore point, did about 10 other things including the scannow check and it still shows the goodix code 45 re-connect to computer code....everything is updated and latest updated got removed...cannot access Windows Hello Sign-in for fingerprint scanner...any suggestions for a low-tech user? thanks
