using a Tuxedo Sirius 16 Gen1 :

It is produced by Tongfang :
It features a "27c6:60c2 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Goodix USB2.0 MISC" FingerPrint scanner :

However it is not usable under Linux, even though Tuxedo created their own Linux distro based on KDE :

Is there a white paper or a base driver to build upon to provide FingerPrint support for the 27c6:60c2 ?
Is there technical documentation available to help leveraging this burden out of your own development team ?
That sure would help many people wanting to use your products.

Thank for your answer, yet it's neither up to the Linux community nor the laptop vendor to provide support for the fingerprint reader but its original manufacturer.
